Our hotel is located in a quiet street in the heart of Amsterdam, just a two minute stroll from a wide choice of restaurants and bars, in three separate buildings. Only the main building has an elevator.

We are also within easy walking distance of Amsterdams main attractions such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Musem and the Floating Flower Market. The buzzing nightlife of the Rembrandtplein and the Leidseplein are also close at hand. Alternatively, numerous tram lines around the corner from our hotel will take you anywhere in the city.

Our hotel meets all the fire and safety standards and is completely non smoking.

Getting There : From the Schiphol Airport to Hotel Asterisk Amsterdam.

First Option - The connexxion shuttle bus stop is outside the main exit of schiphol a bit to the right. You can buy tickets in the bus. Per person EUR 14,50 or a bit less for return tickets

Second Option - You can also take a special taxi form the Lagerberg schipholtaxi company for EUR 31.00 (from 1 to 4 persons) or EUR 39.00 (from 5 to 8 persons).

To take this you will have prebook whether online www.schipholtaxi.nl or by telephone at +31(0)204051013, then upon arrival you have to report in front of the Shereton hotel at Schiphol airport.

Third Option - You can take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. After that you exit the Station on the east side exit. Then you take a tram, number 16, 24 or 25 and get off at the stop called "wetering circuit" (will be announced and displayed in the tram). From this stop there is a 2 minute walk to our hotel. Just follow the blue signs on the street lamps.
Car Parking : Paid parking possible.
  • One child under 1 year is charged EUR 7.50 per night and person in a baby cot. One older child or adult is charged EUR 20.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 3. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
